Remember when Saturday Night Live was must see TV?
One of my all time favorite skits was from 1978 and featured John Belushi, Dan Ackroyd, and Bill Murray as workers at the Olympia Restaurant.
No matter what patrons ordered, there were only three items they could get:
Cheeseburger, chips, and Pepsi.
The skit’s best part was the workers constantly yelling, “cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger!”
Here in So-Cal we have a love affair with cheeseburgers too – in fact the cheeseburger was born in Pasadena by Lionel Sternberger in 1926 at his father’s sandwich shop, “Rite Spot”.
In-N-Out burger has ingrained itself since in our car-dominated California culture by focusing on simply doing the cheeseburger and a few things extremely well.
We like to think of ourselves as the In-N-Out of retirement planning by focusing on a few key elements of a secure financial plan so you can focus on the stuff that really matters in life:
#1 – Will I (and my family) be OK if we have a long recession or even stagflation (the triple whammy of recession, inflation, and high unemployment)?
#2 – Will my retirement savings last if the stock market crashes (even further) more like 2000 or 2008?
#3 – Removing the emotional swings from your retirement financial life so you can focus on the stuff that really matters.
The first step is a short call, and it’s as easy as ordering a #2 (animal-style) by going here: schedule a short call on my calendar here.
